What We Do
Palmetto Women's Center is a faith-based, non-profit organization that assists women and their partners as they navigate unplanned pregnancy. We offer various cost-free services such as pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, options counseling, community resources and more. Our hope is to care for our clients in a dynamic way -- physically, mentally and spiritually -- and to empower them to choose LIFE for their unborn baby and eternal life for themselves through faith in Christ.
Services
Pregnancy Tests & Limited Ultrasounds
Every client we see takes a pregnancy test. Clients who test positive meet with our nursing staff and are able to receive a limited ultrasound. Here, we are able to determine if the pregnancy is viable, how far along she is, and see the heartbeat of the baby!
Options Counseling
When clients come to see us, many are faced with fears, worries, difficult situations, and misinformation. At PWC, we educate each client on all of her options and the various resources available to her.
Men's Program
The Men's Program is designed to equip men and fathers in our community to become strong followers of Christ who in turn parent their children in a God-honoring way.
Some of our clients bring in their partners (the father of the baby) and we offer the program to help them prepare to be dads and continue to lead their family.

Community Resources & Referrals
Many of our clients are unaware of the community resources that are available to them. We are able to connect our clients to these resources and assist them with any complicated processes to get the help they need.
Gospel & Biblical Counseling
PWC is a faith-based organization that truly believes our biggest resource is the Gospel and Jesus Christ. We have opportunities at our center to share the Gospel, pray, and offer hope to the women we see.
Post-Abortive Counseling
Many clients we see have experienced abortion in their life. We know that this requires healing, needed counseling, and community. At PWC, we are able to refer clients to biblically led studies to find hope, community, and healing from their abortion experiences.
Palmetto Maternity Home
Palmetto Maternity Home is a safe, Christ-centered home of hospitality where pregnant women in need will find ongoing support and empowerment in their journey toward independence. We enhance participant's ability to nurture and protect children by building and maintaining a network of family support and providing opportunities to strengthen personal, educational and work skills.
Abortion Pill Reversal
At PWC, we are able to provide the Abortion Pill Reversal. APR, when taken in the proper time, has a 64-68% chance of reversing the effects of the first dose of the abortion pill, mifepristone, saving the life of the baby. PWC has seen 12 patients for the APR and 6 have reported healthy pregnancies to term.
